According to hvylya.net: Ukrainian refugees seeking asylum in Germany may face reductions in social assistance. The leader of the Christian Social Union and the Prime Minister of Bavaria, Markus Söder, has called for the cancellation of payments to Ukrainians, as they receive more in Germany than other asylum seekers.

Currently, a reduction in payments is planned for Ukrainians arriving after a certain date. The German government has allocated over 6 billion euros for social assistance to Ukrainian refugees, which is 4 billion more than last year. However, experts emphasize that the reasons for the low employment rate of Ukrainians in Germany are structural problems in the labor market and difficult access to it.

In particular, to improve the situation, experts believe it is necessary to simplify employment procedures and provide quick access for Ukrainians to the labor market. It is also important to create incentives for their rapid involvement in work instead of receiving social assistance.
