Ukraine's Olympic Committee Hosts Media Workshop on Shooting and AI
Inside the 'FIELD OF PLAY' Workshop
According to НОК: On June 19, the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine (NOC Ukraine) organized a workshop for media professionals titled 'FIELD OF PLAY: Modern Challenges in Sports Journalism.' The event took place in Obukhiv at the Standfort Shooting and Recreation Club. It brought together journalists from across the country, along with communications staff from national sports federations and Olympic committees, to mark the professional holiday of sports reporters.
What the Workshop Covered
The agenda featured a panel discussion with prominent experts, including Vadym Gutzait, Oleksandr Hlyvynskyi, Daria Kuznetsova, and Nazar Chepurnyi. They tackled topics such as promoting youth competitions and the current hurdles in sports journalism. Attendees also attended a lecture by Olha Tyshchuk, who explained how YouTube's algorithms function.
Additionally, Oleksandr Krakovets led a masterclass on integrating artificial intelligence into journalistic work and identifying deepfakes. As part of the workshop, teams competed in trap and bullet shooting events. The event was supported by sponsors and partners, including:
