Ukraine's Nova Poshta Announces Price Hikes for Domestic Delivery Services

Increased shipping rates in Ukraine
Нова Пошта повідомила про підвищення тарифів на внутрішні доставки, що вплине на користувачів по всій Україні.

Revised Pricing Structure Takes Effect

According to Главком: On April 13, the Ukrainian logistics company Nova Poshta implemented updated rates for the delivery of documents, parcels, and cargo. While the price increases affect services within cities and across Ukraine, the cost of some services remains unchanged. This information was confirmed by the company's press service. As Ukraine's largest private delivery service, Nova Poshta's pricing changes impact a significant portion of the country's domestic shipping.

New Delivery Rates Detailed

Under the new tariff schedule, delivering documents will now cost 70 UAH within a city and 80 UAH nationwide. Parcel delivery rates have also been adjusted. For parcels up to 30 kg within city limits, the new pricing is as follows:

  • Up to 2 kg - 70 UAH
  • Up to 10 kg - 115 UAH
  • Up to 30 kg - 180 UAH

For nationwide delivery, the cost for parcels up to 2 kg is now 90 UAH, up to 10 kg is 135 UAH, and up to 30 kg is 200 UAH.

The company cited the current market situation, characterized by a significant increase in operational pressure, as the reason for the adjustment. This includes rising costs of living, instability in the global energy market, and higher fuel prices. Additionally, the cost of services from partners-from telecommunications to electricity-has also increased.

Despite these hikes, Nova Poshta will continue to provide several services for free. These include packaging for small parcels, branded document envelopes, in-transit rerouting, and the commission for declared value up to 500 UAH. Services whose prices have not changed include parcel storage at branches, the 'Point of Transfer' service, surcharges for shipments from villages or settlements, and packaging for medium (up to 10 kg) and large (up to 30 kg) parcels.

This tariff update follows changes that took effect at Ukrposhta, the state postal service, on April 1, 2026, where a portion of its parcel shipping rates were revised.

The adjustments to Nova Poshta's tariffs reflect the company's adaptation to contemporary economic conditions, which involve increased service costs and growing pressure on logistics systems.

It is also important to note that, despite raising prices on some services, the company aims to maintain the availability of certain free services for its clients. This may indicate Nova Poshta's intent to uphold consumer loyalty during a challenging economic period.

As Nova Poshta adjusts its pricing, it's essential to stay informed about other upcoming changes in the shipping industry. For instance, Ukraine's postal service is set to revise its parcel rates in 2026, which could further impact domestic delivery costs. Understanding these shifts will help customers plan their shipping needs more effectively.
