PrivatBank has connected social payments to the Diia Card: what this changes

PrivatBank has joined the payments of the Basic Social Assistance to the Diia Card

PrivatBank announced its connection to the payments of the Basic Social Assistance to the Diia Card, as reported by the bank's press service.

For those receiving state support, there is now an opportunity to receive it on the Diia Card through the new service 'Basic Social Assistance'. This service combines various types of assistance into a single monthly payment for low-income families. All necessary procedures can be completed online in the 'Diia' app: submit documents, set an electronic signature, and choose a PrivatBank card for receiving funds.

Citizens of Ukraine who are already receiving certain types of state support are entitled to this service:

• assistance for families with low income;
• payments to mothers raising children without a partner;
• temporary support for children when parents do not pay alimony or cannot be found.

The amount of assistance is automatically determined based on the number of family members and their income to ensure a fair distribution of funds. In the future, the program is planned to be expanded to other categories of families that meet the established criteria.

The Diia Card is a universal card that allows creating separate accounts for different state programs and managing finances within each of them. PrivatBank clients can quickly obtain the Diia Card in electronic form through the Privat24 app.

PrivatBank has expanded the opportunities for receiving social assistance through the Diia Card, making the payment process even more convenient and accessible for Ukrainians in need of government support.
