According to НВ — Техно: Google is expected to unveil its latest smartphones, including the Pixel 11, Pixel Watch 5, and the Android 17 operating system in August this year. According to a report from Ars Technica, the announcement is likely scheduled for August 12. A key upgrade for the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro models will be a doubling of base storage from 128 GB to 256 GB.
Pricing for the New Models
Pricing will also shift with this generation. In Europe, the Pixel 11 will start at €999, while the Pixel 11 Pro will begin at €1,199. All models, including:
- Pixel 11
- Pixel 11 Pro
- Pixel 11 Pro XL
- Pixel 11 Pro Fold
will see a €100 price increase. In the United States, expected prices are: Pixel 11 from $899, Pixel 11 Pro at $1,099, Pixel 11 Pro XL starting at $1,299, and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold potentially reaching $1,899.
Additionally, Google is likely to introduce a new wearable, the Pixel Watch 5, which may feature Google’s own Tensor chip instead of the usual Qualcomm Snapdragon. Notably, Google released Android 17 for Pixel smartphones back in June 2026. This new OS version introduces a feature called Bubbles, which lets users open apps in floating windows, along with a new Bubble Bar panel for easier management of this functionality.
Earlier, NV Tech reported that Google also rolled out the June Pixel Drop update and Wear OS 7.
