New textbooks by September 1: will they be delivered to all schools in time
According to the Ministry of Education, the problem of printing textbooks has troubled Ukrainian teachers for many years before each new school year begins. However, the situation with textbooks has significantly improved, and most schools have received the necessary educational materials by September. Even Ukrainian educational centers abroad will receive reserves of textbooks.
'This concerns not only schools but also various public organizations. These centers leave us requests for the required number of textbooks, and we supply them,' explained Minister Oksen Lisovyi.
Nadia Kuzmychova, Deputy Minister of Education, noted that the process of printing textbooks in Braille has not yet been completed. She explained that these textbooks are adapted for children with special needs after the examination of regular textbooks, so they are currently in the printing process. Contracts for printing Braille textbooks have already been signed, and the books will be delivered to schools during the fall.
Ukrainian schools will receive textbooks on time, including those for children with special needs, which indicates an improvement in the situation with printing educational materials in the country.
