Tragedy at the Beginning of the New Year

According to МВС: The New Year began with a tragedy: Russian shelling in Donetsk claimed lives. On the first day of the New Year, one person was killed and two were injured due to enemy attacks. A total of 1,519 enemy strikes were recorded, affecting 8 settlements.

Consequences of the Shelling

In Druzhkivka, as a result of an FPV drone strike, a civilian was killed, and another was injured. In Kostiantynivka, one of the victims was also injured due to a hit from an enemy FPV drone. In Sloviansk, strikes were made by two drones: 'Hranat-4' and 'Geran-2', leading to the destruction of one apartment building and four private houses, as well as a café. Additionally, a 'KAB-250' bomb was dropped on Oleksiivka-Druzhkivka, adding to the destruction of civilian objects.

These events highlight the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, particularly in regions that have been most affected by military actions. Despite the New Year, the situation remains critical for the civilian population, which continues to suffer from the consequences of shelling.
