According to Главком: In 2025, the New Year's menu for a family of four will cost approximately 3980 hryvnias. This is 10.7% more expensive than the previous year. Price increases for food products in Ukraine have affected the spending of Ukrainians on festive dishes, particularly traditional salads and meat dishes.

Preparing Olivier salad in 2025 will require spending 406.87 hryvnias, which is 5.8% more compared to last year. The main ingredients needed for this salad include:
- sausage
- potatoes
- carrots
- onions
- eggs
- canned peas
- mayonnaise
Details on food prices: half a kilogram of sausage costs 180 hryvnias, which is 12.5% more than last year. The price of 580 grams of potatoes has decreased to 8.50 hryvnias, representing a decrease of 57.6%. Two carrots will cost 3.18 hryvnias (-62.3%), and two onions for 230 grams will cost 1.75 hryvnias (-58.0%). Six chicken eggs cost 49.08 hryvnias, which is 4.8% more expensive. A can of green peas will cost 62.50 hryvnias for 0.5 kg (+11.5%), and pickled cucumbers will cost 43.92 hryvnias for 200 grams (+14.9%). Salad dressing in the form of mayonnaise (350 g) costs 57.99 hryvnias, which is 14.3% more than last year.
Thus, Ukrainians can expect that the New Year's celebration in 2025 will require higher food expenses compared to the previous year, especially for traditional dishes usually served on the festive table.
