NSJU provided journalists with Chuyka drone detectors: a new security standard on the front line
According to glavcom.ua: NSJU, together with BlueBird Tech, provided military correspondents with five 'Chuyka' 3.0 drone detectors to ensure their safety in frontline regions, reports 'Glavkom'. An expert discussion organized by the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine was the venue for the equipment transfer, which was a response to the increase in the number of FPV drone attacks in the conflict zone.
NSJU head Serhiy Tomilenko emphasized the importance of protective equipment for military correspondents, who are becoming targets of attacks. BlueBird Tech considers the provision of detectors an important step in enhancing safety for journalists working in combat zones. Co-founder of the company Valeriy Zarubin stressed that FPV drones pose a serious threat and their goal is to ensure a safe return home for journalists after their assignments.
