The work, which began on January 17, will take place daily from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The repairs are focused on the exit ramp from the Southern Bridge crossing in the direction of Korchuvate.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution and anticipate potential traffic congestion in the area surrounding the bridge repairs.

Accident on Sofiyivska Street

In a separate incident, an accident occurred on Sofiyivska Street on January 7, damaging a 300 mm diameter water main. A trolleybus fell into the resulting sinkhole. Rescue operations involved specialists from the State Emergency Service (SES) and the Municipal Emergency Rescue Service (MERS), who used pneumatic cushions and hydraulic equipment to extract the vehicle.

The bridge repair project aims to enhance road safety, a critical measure for preventing accidents.
