Shelling of Odessa: number of casualties has increased
Attack on Odessa
According to glavcom.ua: Last night, the occupiers launched an attack on Odessa. Enemy drones shelled the peaceful city. As a result of the attack, two people died, and nine were injured, including two children aged 3 and 7. This was reported by
Chief Commander
citing the National Police of Ukraine.
According to law enforcement officers, residential buildings, an administrative building, other civilian objects, and vehicles were damaged during the attack. All fires caused by the strikes were quickly extinguished by emergency services.
Unfortunately, rescuers recovered the bodies of the victims from the rubble of the destroyed residential building.
The police and other services continue to work at the scene. Law enforcement officers are documenting the consequences of the attack, collecting evidence, interviewing citizens, providing psychological assistance, and ensuring public order. Currently, 66 police officers are involved in these tasks, and information about the injured and damage is being clarified.
Summary: As a result of the attack on Odessa, two people died, nine were injured, including two children. The occupiers inflicted significant material damage on the city, but law enforcement agencies continue to work at the scene to ensure the safety of residents and establish all circumstances of the attack.
