According to Главком: The shelling of Kherson Thermal Power Plant complicates the restoration of heating supply in the city. As a result of constant attacks, 470 apartment buildings remain without centralized heating, and 45 coastal settlements are deprived of electricity. Russian occupiers inflict serious damage, complicating the situation for residents in the region.

Kherson Thermal Power Plant is subjected to daily shelling, which significantly hinders its restoration. Due to constant 'hits', workers cannot connect heating in areas where restoration work has already been completed. Oleksandr Tolokonnikov noted that

“we cannot connect there yet because of the constant 'hits' where we have just worked.”

Authorities and possible solutions

The authorities are considering options for assistance so that residents have the ability to heat their homes.

“We are considering several options for assistance so that, apart from the thermal power plant, people have the opportunity to heat their homes,”
