Along Ukraine's border with Belarus, specifically within the Volyn region, defenses have been maximized. Defense forces are continuously strengthening the state border by adding fortifications and mine-explosive obstacles along its entire length. Local authorities stand ready to swiftly execute a full evacuation of residents from border settlements if the threat of an invasion from Belarus becomes real again. Both military and civilian officials acknowledge the ongoing risk of a potential offensive by the Russian army from Belarusian territory.
