Officer of the TCC apprehended for a bribe of $10,000: details of the case

The Odesa regional center has received a significant blow from law enforcement - a case of bribery among its own officials has been uncovered. An Odesa officer, responsible for military staffing, demanded $10,000 from representatives of servicemen from another region for 'services' related to the secret removal of military personnel and evasion of official duties.

"During the receipt of the bribe, the subject was apprehended by law enforcement," said a police representative.

For extorting and receiving a bribe, the officer has been notified of suspicion under the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Currently, the case is in a decisive process regarding the selection of a preventive measure for the suspect, as well as establishing all involved persons.

Thus, a case of bribery has been uncovered at the Odesa regional center, and the officer faces serious penalties for obtaining unlawful benefits.
