The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine has begun the evacuation of children from hazardous areas of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. The evacuation is mandatory for all children and their parents. The decision was made at a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters. The evacuation conditions stipulate that children will be evacuated together with their parents or legal representatives, and families will have the opportunity to choose the most convenient and safe travel route.

According to the Ministry of Development, evacuation is already underway in the Zaporizhzhia region. From June 1 to November 21, 2025, more than 129 thousand people have been evacuated, including over 15 thousand children and more than 4 thousand people with limited mobility. It is planned to open 20 transit centers to assist the evacuated in various regions of Ukraine.

The brigade spokesperson, Kostyantyn Melnyk, said: 'The settlement is completely destroyed, civilians have lived in the basement for over a year. The village is under constant attacks from Russian aerial bombs, and the roads to it are under the control of FPV drones.'

A new center for evacuated persons is also planned to be opened in Kyiv. The government is doing everything possible to ensure the safety and comfort of evacuation participants during the period of danger in the frontline areas.
