According to glavcom.ua: Russian drones provoked fires and caused damage to private homes and power grids in the Cherkasy region. As a result of this attack, no one was injured, but dozens of houses were damaged. Drone debris led to fires in wheat fields and scorched reeds in the Zvenyhorodskyi district. The situation was quickly brought under control, but these events once again confirm the threat posed by drones in armed conflicts.
«And this night in Cherkasy passed with air raid alerts. Our air defense forces worked against enemy targets. Within our territory, we managed to neutralize 14 Russian UAVs,» – noted the head of the Cherkasy OVA Igor Taburets.
We remind you that Russian drones have previously carried out similar attacks, resulting in injuries and significant damage. This incident is just part of a larger problem with the use of unmanned technology in the conflict zone.
