As a co-founder of the Music for Ukraine foundation, he has helped raise over €3.5 million since the conflict began. The funds have been instrumental in supplying the Ukrainian military with vital vehicles and medical equipment, significantly boosting the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Music for Ukraine Foundation’s Impact

Established in 2022 by Oleg Lysenko and his wife Sanne van Wuren, Music for Ukraine has organized more than 400 charity concerts across the Netherlands. These events have generated substantial financial support for Ukraine’s defense and humanitarian efforts. Among the foundation’s key contributions are:

• Over 278 ambulances and evacuation vehicles;
• Various medical devices and equipment.

More than 120 military units and hospitals throughout Ukraine have benefited from this aid, highlighting the foundation’s efficient and far-reaching support.

Recently, the foundation handed over 10 vehicles to the Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This handover ceremony took place at the main square of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, near the iconic 'Motherland Monument.' The vehicles were received by Yevhen Avdienko, known by his call sign 'Avdey,' an officer of the Third Separate Assault Brigade.

Originally from the Poltava region, Oleg Lysenko trained as an accordionist at the Kyiv Conservatory. His dedication goes beyond financial aid; his efforts also help uplift the morale of Ukrainians during these challenging times.
