Olexiy Kuleba's visit to Dnipropetrovsk region

According to Міністерство інфраструктури: Olexiy Kuleba visited Dnipropetrovsk region to discuss issues of energy supply, the heating season, and the protection of critical infrastructure in wartime conditions. During his visit, he held meetings with Deputy Minister Olexiy Ryabikin, local leaders, MPs, and the teams of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Dnipropetrovsk region is a strategic industrial area of Ukraine, emphasizing the importance of adequate energy supply to support its functioning. Heating in the communities is provided, particularly in Kryvyi Rih, where one cogeneration unit can provide heat to over four thousand residents. This is an important aspect in the context of the region's energy stability, as providing heat is critically important during the winter period.

Cooperation with the Ministry of Energy

Olexiy Kuleba emphasized the joint work with the Ministry of Energy on developing solutions aimed at increasing the available volumes of electricity for the region. According to him, load balancing in the networks is also being carried out. The goal of these measures is to ensure a more predictable operation of industry, communal infrastructure, and social facilities considering the actual load of the frontline region.

Dnipropetrovsk region, as a key transit area for internally displaced persons, also requires adequate energy supply to support the population seeking a safe place amidst the war. All these aspects highlight the importance of the solutions being prepared to ensure energy stability in the region.

Olexiy Kuleba's visit indicates the government's efforts to address the energy challenges facing Dnipropetrovsk region amidst the war. Supporting energy infrastructure is critically important not only for the industry but also for providing comfortable conditions for the population, especially in the winter period.
