According to РБК-Україна — Lite: At age 38, choreographer Olena Shoptenko has sought professional cosmetic help for the first time in her life, driven by a persistent struggle with rosacea. During a trip to Kyiv, she visited a clinic where specialists designed a personalized skincare regimen for her. The plan includes RF-lifting and gentle skin resurfacing, with final results expected to be assessed in two months. Prior to this, Shoptenko had never undergone any device-based or injectable cosmetic treatments.

A fresh approach to skincare

This initial consultation marked a turning point for Shoptenko. She remarked:

“I’m finally shedding my 'cosmetic virginity'-until now, at 38, I had never tried any device or injection procedure. I decided to go ahead because rosacea was driving me crazy.”

Shoptenko emphasized that rather than aggressively targeting the rosacea, the clinicians first aimed to restore her skin’s natural resilience.

The anticipated outcomes are promising. According to Shoptenko, by stimulating collagen production and encouraging natural regeneration, her skin has begun addressing the issue on its own.

“The resurfacing will also even out the texture. A nice bonus-taking ten years off my face,”

she added. Shoptenko now looks forward to visible improvements after completing her treatment course.
