According to Visit Ukraine: The 2026 Winter Olympic Games commenced with their opening ceremony in Italy on February 6, 2026. The Ukrainian delegation participated in the Parade of Nations, led by its flag bearers. The honor of carrying the Ukrainian flag was bestowed upon skeleton athlete Vladyslav Heraskevych and short track speed skater Yelyzaveta Sydoriko.
Yelyzaveta Sydoriko carried the flag at the San Siro stadium, while Vladyslav Heraskevych represented Ukraine in Cortina. In addition to these primary bearers, the flag was also carried at other ceremony locations by:
- Annamari Dantscha, a snowboarder;
- Yevhen Marusiak, a ski jumper.
