According to Главком: On February 19, 2026, the thirteenth day of the Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, gold medals were awarded in six events across five sports: ski mountaineering, Nordic combined, speed skating, figure skating, and ice hockey. Ukraine has not yet won a medal at these Games. The nation's athletes continue to compete with resilience, facing unique challenges in their preparation.

Medal Results

History was made as the first-ever Olympic medals in ski mountaineering were awarded. In the women's sprint, Switzerland's Marianne Fatton took gold, France's Emily Harrop won silver, and Spain's Ana Alonso Rodriguez claimed bronze. For the men's sprint, Spain's Orion Cardona Col secured gold, silver went to AIN's Nikita Filippov, and France's Thibault Anselme earned bronze.

In Nordic combined's team sprint, the Norwegian duo of Andreas Skoglund and Jens Luraas Oftebro won gold. Finland's Ilkka Herola and Eero Hirvonen took silver, while Austria's Stefan Rettenegger and Johannes Lamparter captured bronze. In men's 1500m speed skating, China's Zhongyang Ning was the gold medalist, with Jordan Stolz of the United States taking silver and Kjeld Nuis of the Netherlands winning bronze.

In women's singles figure skating, the United States' Alysa Liu won gold, marking the first U.S. gold in this discipline in the 21st century. Japan's Kaori Sakamoto earned silver, while her compatriot Ami Nakai took bronze. In the women's ice hockey tournament, Team USA defeated Canada 2-1 in overtime to win the gold medal. Canada settled for silver, and Switzerland won the bronze.

Following the thirteenth day of competition, the United States moved ahead of Italy in the overall medal standings, though Norway continues to lead the table with 16 gold medals. A further seven gold medals are scheduled to be awarded on the fourteenth day of the Games.

This day of the Olympics was a significant milestone not only for the medal-winning athletes but also for the history of the Games, as it featured the first-ever medal events in the sport of ski mountaineering.
