Three-time Olympic swimming champion Sara Sjöström became a mother on Tuesday, August 26. She shared that she gave birth to her firstborn in an ambulance right at the hospital entrance. 'Five hours before his birth, we went for a check-up because I felt labor was close. But we were sent home. After a while, everything changed quickly, and the contractions became unbearably painful,' Sjöström wrote.

Our wonderful son Adrian was born right at the entrance to the hospital, in the ambulance.

The swimmer added that the journey to the hospital was very painful and long, but when they arrived, the baby was already on his way into the world. 'The moment that changed everything: when he was laid on my chest and we heard the first cry. From incredible pain and fear to the most magical moment of my life,' emphasized Sjöström.
