NOC of Ukraine Celebrates 35th Anniversary: Film Premiere and Awards for Top Athletes

According to НОК: On Saturday, December 22, a ceremonial event to mark the 35th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine took place in Kyiv. The celebration brought together the sports community, proud of the country's sports achievements and promoting Olympic values.

The event was attended by IOC President Kirsty Coventry, who emphasized the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people. Also present were the President of the NOC of Ukraine Vadim Gutzeit, Oleksiy Nikitenko from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and Andriy Kozhemiakin from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

In addition, representatives of the sports community were honored for their contribution to the development of sports in Ukraine.

During the celebration, awards were also presented to the best athletes and coaches of the year and November. One of the main highlights was the premiere of the documentary film 'Path of Resilience and Strength', dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the NOC. The film tells the story of the development of the Ukrainian Olympic movement from its founding to the achievements of athletes on the world stage.
