Updated driving license test in Ukraine: what has changed in the exam
According to hvylya.net: The driving license test in Ukraine has been updated. Participants are now required to pass a theoretical test consisting of 20 questions, which they must answer within 20 minutes, with a maximum of 2 mistakes allowed. This is a mandatory stage for all future drivers.
The exam includes 20 questions to be answered in 20 minutes. A maximum of 2 mistakes is allowed - exceeding this number makes the attempt unsuccessful. However, the number of attempts is not limited, but retakes can only be made after 10 days following a failed attempt.
To prepare for the exam, drivers can enroll in driving school courses or study the material independently. Current exam questions are available on the website of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Changes were also made to certain tasks regarding traffic signs, road markings, and safe driving rules, in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine resolution No. 364 dated April 1, 2025.
It was previously announced that all drivers must urgently exchange their driving licenses.
