Renting Housing in Ukraine: Where Prices Have Increased by 26% and Demand by 48%

According to ХВИЛЯ: The housing rental market in Ukraine is showing notable changes in 2025. In particular, the demand for housing in the Vinnytsia region has increased by 48%. This trend indicates a growing interest among the population in renting housing in this region.

Rental Prices in Different Regions

As for rental prices, the Transcarpathian region has the highest indicators for one-bedroom apartments. The average rental price for such apartments is 18450 hryvnias, which is a 13% increase compared to last year. Two-bedroom apartments in Transcarpathia are also showing significant growth: the average price of such apartments has reached 19680 hryvnias, which is 26% more than before.

In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, the situation with housing rental looks different. The average price for a three-room apartment is 28700 hryvnias. For two-bedroom apartments in Kyiv, the average price is approximately 16500 hryvnias. In the Lviv region, the average price for three-room apartments is close to 21000 hryvnias.

Experts note that the Vinnytsia region has become the main discovery of 2025, as stated by Vitalii Poberzhs'kyi.

This data indicates an active growth in the housing rental market, reflecting changes in the consumption preferences of Ukrainians.

The increase in demand and prices for housing rental in Ukraine may indicate an improvement in the economic situation and the recovery of the domestic market after difficult times. The Vinnytsia region, in particular, is becoming attractive for renters, which may influence the development of infrastructure and business in the region.
