Five regions lead in compensation for jobs for people with disabilities

According to hvylya.net: Since the launch of the program in August 2023, more than 2900 employers have received 246 million hryvnias in compensation from the State Employment Service for arranging workplaces for 3393 employees with disabilities.

According to the Employment Service, the most active users of compensations are employers in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Ivano-Frankivsk, Odesa regions and in the city of Kyiv.

The average compensation amount today is 79 thousand hryvnias. The maximum compensation amounts are:

• 120 thousand UAH - for persons with disabilities of group I;
• 80 thousand UAH - for persons with disabilities of group II.

Employers who create new jobs for people with disabilities can receive compensation. This assistance also applies to cases when employees with disabilities return to their previous workplace after military service.

With the support of the State Employment Service, more than 2900 employers provide jobs for people with disabilities, receiving state compensation for this. The compensation system helps promote the social and labor integration of groups of the population with special needs, making Ukrainian society more inclusive and caring.
