According to hvylya.net: Ukraine's Foreign Ministry exposed Russian President Putin's lies about NATO's expansion. Georgy Tikhiy reminded of Putin's archival statements from 2004, where he supported the alliance's expansion and expressed hope that it would strengthen trust. Now, however, Putin justifies his aggression against Ukraine with threats from NATO, which demonstrates his pathological dishonesty.
Tikhiy also debunked the myths about NATO's promises to Russia not to expand eastward in 1990, noting that it only hindered Moscow from colonizing other countries. He urged not to believe in propaganda manipulations and to remember the real motives of countries seeking to join NATO – protection against the Russian threat.
