The amount of the pension is 70% of the monetary support of the serviceman for one incapacitated family member. If there are more than two incapacitated members of the family, the amount of the pension is reduced to 50% of the monetary support of the serviceman for each of them. This provides a certain level of financial support for those left without the main breadwinner.

To receive the pension, it is necessary to submit an application to the department at the last place of service of the deceased. The application should include an extract from the order regarding the exclusion of the breadwinner from the lists, a death certificate, documents confirming family relationships, as well as documents evidencing the circumstances of the death.
