Pension on Weekend: When to Receive Money if the Payment Date Falls on a Holiday

The press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine explained that Ukrainians have the opportunity to receive pension payments either through banking institutions or through 'Ukrposhta'. This should simplify the process of receiving social assistance for the citizens of the country.

Conditions for Pension Payments on Holidays

Pensioners are provided with information about the payment date. If this day falls on a weekend or holiday, they can receive their pension in advance. It is important that payments are made within the established terms - from the 4th to the 25th of the month.

If it is necessary to change the established payment date, the postal worker is obliged to inform the pensioner at least one month before the changes take effect.

Ukrainians were explained how to receive pension payments and other social assistance, reminding them about the possibility of receiving funds through banking institutions or 'Ukrposhta'. It was also emphasized the importance of timely receiving pensions and payments within the established deadlines. Any change in the payment date must be communicated no later than one month in advance.
