Pensions for Mobilized Ukrainians

In Ukraine, it has been confirmed that pensions do not cease for retirees called up for military service during mobilization. Legislation defines the mechanism for recalculating pensions for servicemen who are discharged from service. Thus, mobilized individuals can receive their pension payments throughout the entire 'special period' or until they are discharged from military service.

Documents for Pension Recalculation

To recalculate pensions, a number of documents must be submitted to the Pension Fund. Among them are:

  • financial certificate;
  • certificate of additional types of financial support;
  • calculation of length of service.

It is important to note that veterans who participated in combat actions have the opportunity to retire earlier: men at 55 years with 25 years of service, women at 50 years with 20 years of service. Additionally, time spent in combat zones is accounted for at an increased rate: one month of service counts as three.

The minimum pension in Ukraine is 4958.1 UAH. To apply for a pension for mobilized individuals, the following must be submitted:

  • passport;
  • employment record book;
  • combatant participant certificate;
  • income and combat operation participation certificates;
  • photograph.

Meeting these requirements will ensure the continuity of pension payments even during military service.

This information is important for mobilized Ukrainians, as it ensures financial stability during military service. Knowledge of the possibility of continuing to receive pension payments can help alleviate financial stress and allow individuals to focus on their official duties. It is also crucial for mobilized individuals to be aware of the procedure for recalculating pensions and the necessary documents for applying for payments, which will facilitate easy access to financial support during service.
