Ukraine's Pension Fund Issues Second Notice to Beneficiaries Requiring Verification
Second Notice from Ukraine's Pension Fund
According to Пенсії (RSS): The Pension Fund of Ukraine has sent follow-up messages to the personal online accounts of payment recipients who still need to complete in-person identity verification or submit a declaration confirming they do not receive payments from the Russian Federation. These messages contain active links to instructional guides designed to help recipients understand the required steps.
The notices are directed at pensioners and recipients of insurance payments. Specifically, reminders have been sent to those receiving pensions in temporarily occupied territories or abroad who have not completed their physical identification by December 31, 2025. Individuals who completed their identification in 2025 but have not yet submitted the declaration about non-receipt of Russian payments have also received a reminder. This verification process is a key part of Ukraine's ongoing effort to maintain its social safety net during the war.
Accessing Notices and the Importance of Verification
To access these messages, users can log in to the Pension Fund of Ukraine's web portal using a qualified electronic signature (QES), the Diia.Pidpys (Diia.Signature), or an ID.GOV.UA account. After logging in, users should select the 'My Messages' section in the left-hand menu and proceed to 'Individual Messages'. Alternatively, messages can be checked in the mobile application by logging in and viewing the most recent notification in the 'Messages' tab.
Payment recipients are urged to carefully review the notices they have received and to complete the necessary actions to avoid potential disruptions to their benefits.
This initiative by Ukraine's Pension Fund aims to ensure the stability of payments for pensioners, particularly those residing in temporarily occupied territories or abroad.
The physical identification procedure is crucial for preventing fraud and maintaining transparency within the social payment system. These reminders about the need for verification underscore the state's commitment to the social protection of its citizens, even amidst a challenging political and military situation.
