According to Пенсії (RSS): Nearly 25 million users are now registered on the electronic services portal of the Pension Fund of Ukraine. The agency continues to roll out new digital tools aimed at making its platform more inclusive. Recent upgrades include tailored features for individuals with visual, hearing, and motor impairments, designed to improve the overall user experience.

Accessibility Enhancements for People with Disabilities

Users with vision problems can customize the page layout, including options to:

• adjust spacing;
• resize images;

The portal also offers a color scheme adaptation feature that lets users modify colors and contrast. Additional navigation controls include enlarging the cursor, enabling reading guides, and underlining links. These settings can be accessed via an eye icon located in the top-right corner of the main screen.

All images on the portal are accompanied by alternative text (alt-text), improving accessibility for everyone. Furthermore, the portal’s pages are marked as Ukrainian ('uk'), meeting accessibility standards and requirements. Users can quickly jump to the main content using a keyboard shortcut known as the 'Skip Link' function. Navigation via keyboard is fully supported using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, and Space keys, allowing users to operate without a mouse.

The Pension Fund of Ukraine’s web portal has been recognized as one of the best government websites for accessibility. According to a baseline accessibility study called 'Web Accessibility of 100 Government Authority Websites'-conducted by the United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine in partnership with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine under the 'Diya Support Project'-the portal achieved a perfect score of 10 out of 10. This marks a 6-point improvement over the previous year, reflecting the fund’s ongoing efforts to make its services more accessible to all population groups.
