May Social Payouts Reach 36.4 Billion UAH as Ukraine's Pension Fund Funds Benefits

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of May 7, 2023, Ukraine has disbursed funding for a range of social benefits. A total of 25.1 billion UAH was allocated for pension payments, with 4.4 billion UAH distributed through Ukrposhta JSC and 20.7 billion UAH via authorized banks. Additionally, 3.3 billion UAH was provided for housing subsidies and allowances, while 1.8 billion UAH went to insurance payouts-including 0.4 billion UAH designated for sick leave compensation.

Another 6.2 billion UAH was directed toward social assistance and other payments. During May, the Pension Fund of Ukraine delivered 365,800 services to individuals who approached its offices. These figures demonstrate the continued provision of social support to the population amid ongoing challenges.
