Pension Fund Allocates Over 45 Billion UAH for Social Payments

According to Пенсії (RSS): As of July 10, 2023, Ukraine has funded a range of social payments, including pensions, housing subsidies, insurance payouts, and social assistance. A total of 35.0 billion UAH was allocated for pension payments, with 5.3 billion UAH distributed through Ukrposhta and 29.7 billion UAH via authorized banks.
Additionally, 1.3 billion UAH was directed toward housing subsidies and benefits, while 2.0 billion UAH went to insurance payments-0.7 billion UAH of which covered sick leave expenses. Social assistance and other payments received 6.6 billion UAH. In July, 510,000 services were provided to individuals who approached the Pension Fund of Ukraine offices.
Support for Socially Vulnerable Groups
These figures highlight the government's continued support for socially vulnerable populations, particularly pensioners and people with disabilities. The allocation of funds for housing subsidies and insurance payments also underscores the importance of ensuring social fairness amid economic instability. Notably, the delivery of 510,000 services reflects the active role of Pension Fund bodies in processing citizen applications and inquiries.
