Nearly 72 Billion UAH Disbursed by Pension Fund in May
Ukraine’s Social Payments Update for May 2023
According to Пенсії (RSS): As of May 22, 2023, Ukraine has funded a range of social benefits. The total amount allocated for pensions reached 71.9 billion UAH, distributed as follows:
- 9.5 billion UAH delivered through Ukrposhta JSC;
- 62.4 billion UAH via authorized banks.
Additionally, 3.3 billion UAH was set aside for housing subsidies and privileges, while insurance payouts accounted for 3 billion UAH-1.6 billion of which covered sick leave benefits.
Social assistance and other payments were also funded, totaling 10.1 billion UAH. During May, the Pension Fund of Ukraine processed 1,194,600 services for individuals who reached out to its offices.
