According to ХВИЛЯ: A portion of Ukrainians, including pensioners and individuals receiving insurance payments, are required to undergo mandatory physical identification by December 31, 2025. This requirement applies not only to those residing in controlled territories but also to people who are in temporarily occupied territories or abroad for more than 183 days within a year.

In case of delayed identification, payments may be suspended. This means that beneficiaries must take care of their identification within the set deadlines to avoid financial difficulties. There are several ways to undergo this procedure:

• Personally visit the Pension Fund service center, presenting an identification document.
• Online identification via video call with a PFU employee.
• Use the electronic portal of the Pension Fund through a personal account, utilizing 'Diia.Signature'.
• Contact a branch of an authorized bank that will forward the information to the Pension Fund.
• Complete the procedure at a Ukrainian embassy or consulate for those abroad.

All these measures are aimed at ensuring timely identification of citizens and the continuity of their payments.
