Рішення щодо підвищення вартості пального в Україні: Глава Нафтогазу розкриває деталі та запевняє у стабільних постачаннях.

Serhiy Kopytskyi Addresses Rising Fuel Costs

According to Главком: Serhiy Kopytskyi, Chairman of the National Joint Stock Company 'Naftogaz of Ukraine', has commented on the recent increase in fuel prices, an issue affecting not only Ukraine but Europe and the wider world. He stated that despite price hikes at filling stations, triggered by escalating tensions in the Middle East, there is no threat to supply in Ukraine. Kopytskyi confirmed that prices at petrol stations have risen by at least 1-2 hryvnias but did not verify reports of a 10-hryvnia increase.

Measures to Ensure Supply Stability

Kopytskyi further explained that the primary goal for the government and Naftogaz is to prevent any disruptions in fuel supply. 'There are global disruptions to logistical chains,' he noted, emphasizing the importance of stable supply. In response to the sharp price fluctuations, the head of the parliamentary finance committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, has appealed to Ukraine's Antimonopoly Committee. This price volatility is a common concern in global energy markets following geopolitical instability.

Kopytskyi added that the state-owned company 'Ukrnafta' is acting as a benchmark for fair pricing during this crisis and will strive to minimize any mark-up, covering only essential costs. He also mentioned that companies are working to diversify their supply channels to adapt to the changing price environment.

Ukraine possesses one of the most diversified supply networks for oil products, so Kopytskyi sees no reason for panic. 'We believe this is a kind of shock panic mood. It will also pass because everyone will buy and there will be no free canisters left,' he stressed. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has also stated that the authorities will try to curb the rise in gasoline prices and has agreed with Naftogaz and Ukrnafta on measures to help maintain price stability for Ukrainians.

The rise in fuel prices results from global economic and political challenges impacting the energy market. The Ukrainian government and Naftogaz are taking steps to ensure supply stability and avoid social tension among the population. In times of instability, it is crucial for state structures to respond effectively to changes in pricing policy, as this directly affects the economy and the welfare of citizens.
