Half Marathon in Lutsk Will Change Transport Routes on November 8: List of Streets and Hours

In Lutsk on Sunday, November 8, due to the Luchesk Half Marathon 2026, traffic will be restricted on central streets and public transport routes will be changed. Some restrictions will be in effect from 07:00 to 15:00. This is reported by the Lutsk City Council.

Traffic Restrictions in Lutsk: Which Streets Will Be Affected on November 8

From 07:00 to 15:00, access to Victory Avenue will be restricted on the section from Parkova Street to Chopin Street. For drivers, this means the need to choose another route to this part of the center in advance.

Additionally, from 08:30 to 12:00, restrictions will be in effect along the running route, which will go through:

• Victory Avenue;

• Slovatsky Street;

• Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street;

• Senator Levchanynska Street;

• Hlushets Street;

• Bratkovsky Street;

• Plytnytsia Street;

• Zamkova Street;

• Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after Lesya Ukrainka;

• Tešina Yazyk Drive with a return to Victory Avenue.

Hlushets Street is part of the route in several sections: after Senator Levchanynska Street, after Zamkova, and after passing the park. Therefore, when planning a trip, it is important to consider the entire running route.

Public Transport in Lutsk: When Will Regular Routes Return on November 8

Buses and trolleybuses will operate with changes. Passengers using trolleybus No. 4 and No. 4A and other routes through the center should check the temporary schedule before departure.

The City Council has determined the following time intervals:

• 07:00–08:30: a temporary trolleybus movement schedule will be in effect.

• 08:30–12:00: traffic will be restricted along the half marathon route, public transport will operate with changes.

• 12:00–15:00: trolleybuses will return to the temporary schedule that was in effect in the morning from 07:00 to 08:30.

• After 15:00: public transport will resume regular daily routes.

The completion of the race on certain streets at noon will not mean a complete restoration of traffic: restrictions on the section of Victory Avenue will remain until 15:00. Therefore, for trips through the center, it is important to verify not only the regular trolleybus schedule but also the temporary changes for November 8.
