referring to the Ministry of Digital Transformation.

Other measures

It is noted that the total audience of these profiles is over 365 thousand subscribers. Another 20 accounts with an audience of more than 625 thousand people are awaiting verification. According to the head of the state agency, Gennady Novikov, complaints are considered within a few days. Until September, he said, these were isolated cases and requests were processed slowly.

In addition, cooperation with Meta is ongoing. A total of 54 accounts that illegally advertised gambling have already been blocked on Instagram.

Register of persons with limited participation in gambling

Recall that the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine issued a project order on establishing financial and time limits for players in gambling.

Earlier,

"Glavkom"

reported that the state agency PlayCity announced a tender for the development of the Register of persons with restricted participation in gambling. PlayCity is looking for a contractor to develop the Register, which will allow submitting an application for self-restriction or limiting the participation of family members in the game through an electronic cabinet.

Changes to licensing conditions

Furthermore, the Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to licensing conditions for gambling organizers. Thanks to this, PlayCity will be able to start issuing licenses, which will bring nearly 50 million hryvnias to the state budget.

Summary: The state agency PlayCity continues to fight against illegal gambling advertisements on social networks by blocking accounts that violate legal requirements. A project has also been launched to create a Register of persons with limited participation in gambling, which will contribute to monitoring and counteracting gambling addiction. Changes to licensing conditions for gambling organizers will help PlayCity expand its activities and increase state budget revenues.
