According to Главком: Ukrainian traveler Maria Maiger has detailed the costs of her six-day trip to Jordan, which totaled 31,000 Ukrainian hryvnias (UAH). Her journey included a visit to the ancient city of Petra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Jordan offers a compelling mix of ancient history and dramatic desert landscapes, attracting visitors from around the globe.

Maria Maiger noted that a visa is required for entry into Jordan. Her trip originated in Budapest, from where she flew to Jordan.

"Round-trip airfare cost 3,300 UAH," she explained.

The total cost for travel from Budapest to Jordan was 3,800 UAH. Upon arrival, she rented a car for the entire duration of the trip, adding another 4,600 UAH to her expenses.

"Right after landing at the airport, we rented a car for the whole period. That was an additional 4,600 UAH. This already includes fuel, insurance, and paid parking," she reported.

Costs for Major Attractions

To visit the main sites, including Petra, Maria opted for an online ticket that also covered her visa. The price for this pass was 4,600 UAH. Her other significant expenses included:

• 1,800 UAH for the Petra by Night light show,
• 2,500 UAH for a desert jeep tour and an evening tea with Bedouins,
• 390 UAH for entrance to a mosque.

Accommodation for five nights amounted to 3,800 UAH, while food costs totaled 5,000 UAH. She also purchased travel insurance for 530 UAH and a local SIM card for 380 UAH.

Thus, the total cost of her journey to Jordan came to 31,000 UAH. Maria Maiger published the account of her trip with the Ukrainian publication 'Glavcom'.
