According to ХВИЛЯ: Forecasters have warned Ukrainians about deteriorating weather on December 9, with rain and wet snow expected in some regions. Cloudy weather is anticipated in Ukraine on this day, and wet snow and rain are forecasted in the eastern part of the country. In the western and northern regions, moderate rain is expected during the day, while no precipitation is anticipated in other areas.

Expected Conditions in Different Regions

In Transcarpathia, Prykarpattia, and central regions, fog may occur at night and in the morning. The wind will predominantly be from the south, with a north-eastern direction in the south, at a speed of 7-12 m/s. In the Carpathians, wind gusts during the day could reach 15-20 m/s. The temperature at night will range from 3 degrees Celsius above zero to 2 degrees below zero, while during the day it will be between 0-5 degrees Celsius above zero.

Regarding the weather in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, no precipitation is expected at night, but rain is anticipated during the day. The nighttime temperature in the Kyiv region will range from 3 degrees Celsius above zero to 2 degrees below zero, while in Kyiv itself, it will be 0-2 degrees above zero at night and 2-4 degrees above zero during the day. In the west and south of Ukraine, nighttime temperatures will be between 1-6 degrees above zero, and during the day - 4-9 degrees above zero.

According to forecasts, the deterioration of weather conditions may impact transportation and the daily life of Ukrainians, especially in regions where precipitation and strong winds are expected. It is important, therefore, to exercise caution on the roads and consider weather conditions when planning trips. The possibility of fog in the central regions may also complicate visibility, so drivers are advised to be particularly careful.
