Cloud cover with clear spells is expected across the country. Overnight, precipitation will affect most central and southern regions. During the day, light rain is possible in many areas, except in the west. Fog is likely overnight and in the morning on the Right Bank. A north-easterly wind will blow at speeds of 5-10 m/s.
Nighttime temperatures will be between 1 and 6 degrees Celsius. However, ground and air frosts of 0 to -3 degrees are possible in western, northern, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Kharkiv regions. Daytime highs will reach 9 to 14 degrees, with temperatures in Zakarpattia potentially climbing to 17 degrees.
Weather in the Kyiv Region
Cloudy spells with intermittent sunshine are also forecast for the Kyiv region and the capital. No rain is expected in Kyiv overnight, but local light showers are possible during the day. Fog may form in the region overnight and in the morning. The wind will remain north-easterly at 5-10 m/s. In Kyiv, nighttime lows will be 0 to 2 degrees, rising to 10-12 degrees in the afternoon.
It is worth noting that on April 12, Lviv recorded its coldest temperature for that date in the last four decades.
