Weather for the weekend of November 29-30, 2023
The weather promises to be diverse across Ukraine. Daytime temperatures will range from +4 to +8 degrees, rising to +9-13 degrees in the south and Dnipropetrovsk region, and even up to +16 degrees in Crimea. At the same time, nighttime temperatures in the south will be +1-8 degrees, while the rest of the territory will experience temperatures from +5 to 1 degree below zero.
On November 29, mainly no precipitation is expected, but light rain is possible in northern Ukraine, as well as in the southern part on November 30. In Kyiv, daytime temperatures on November 29 are expected to be around +7-9 degrees, with nighttime temperatures ranging from +2 to +4 degrees. In the Kyiv region, a yellow level warning has been issued due to fog with visibility of 200-500 meters.
Wind and winter forecasts
The wind over the weekend will be southeast and east, with speeds of 5-10 m/s. Meteorologists note that the meteorological winter in Ukraine has shifted by a month and begins closer to January. The winter of 2025-2026 is forecasted to be warmer than the climatic norm by 1-2 degrees, and January will remain the coldest month. The most precipitation is expected in February.
