According to Главком: Train No. 21/22, running from Kharkiv to Lviv, finally reached its destination after a series of disruptive incidents. On the evening of April 2, near the Kolomak station in the Kharkiv region, a road accident occurred involving a freight truck and the passenger train. Following the collision, passengers were transferred to undamaged carriages, and a reserve locomotive towed the train to Merefa.

A new reserve train was prepared in Kharkiv within an hour and a half to continue the journey. However, near Vyshneve, the train was halted again due to the flight path of a swarm of hostile drones. Despite these repeated obstacles, 413 passengers received 'Iron Snacks' from the organization World Central Kitchen in Kyiv, and 167 people were provided with hot dinners in Ternopil.

"The most beleaguered train of the day has reached its destination," noted Ukrzaliznytsia.

Ukrzaliznytsia's management commented on the situation, stating: "Today's train No. 21/22 Kharkiv-Lviv is a symbol of our collective choice not to give up. Where it would have been easier to cancel the trip and refund tickets, we mobilized all reserve forces and the support of our reliable partners." This journey highlights the extraordinary challenges facing Ukraine's rail network, which operates under constant threat.

Consequently, despite numerous challenges, the train managed to achieve its goal, demonstrating resilience and a readiness to overcome difficulties.
