Trains from Ukraine operate to six European countries - UZ
According to hvylya.net: Since the beginning of the year and until June 2025, international passenger trains between Ukraine and six European countries have transported about 1.3 million passengers in both directions. This information was reported by the branch of 'Passenger Company' JSC 'Ukrzaliznytsia'.
As of July 2025, international trains operate between Ukraine and Europe. Since the beginning of the year, approximately 710,000 passengers have been transported in the Ukraine - EU direction, while about 600,000 passengers in the opposite direction.
In 2024, over 1.5 million passengers were transported in the Ukraine - EU direction, and more than 1.26 million passengers in the other direction. The company noted that international services remain very popular, especially the route to Poland, as well as through Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Moldova, and the Czech Republic.
The mentioned international tickets can be purchased through the UZ mobile application or on the website booking.uz.gov.ua. For important trains, verification through 'Diia ID' has been introduced, which helps prevent ticket speculation and combat scalpers. For users unable to install the 'Diia' application, the possibility of purchasing tickets through another access system remains.
Since the beginning of the year and until June 2025, trains between Ukraine and Europe have transported more than 1.3 million passengers in both directions. The route to Poland and other routes through European countries are particularly popular. Ukrainians can purchase train tickets through the mobile application or online system, ensuring verification and preventing unfair ticket selling schemes.
