A police tow truck severed trolleybus wires: 8 cars damaged in Dnipro

A police officer involved in the process of towing a car after an accident did not lower the boom of the tow truck. This caused the trolleybus wires on Sichovykh Striltsiv Avenue to become entangled, resulting in the wires being severed and the tarp of the Gazelle vehicle catching fire.

This negligence resulted in the trolleybus network being knocked down and seven cars being damaged. The investigation showed that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol, but responsibility for the incident was not escaped.
