Fallen Master of Sports Ivan Khavruk: The Story of a Defender from Rivne

According to glavcom.ua: Every morning at 9 o'clock, Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died as a result of the war between Russia and Ukraine. Today we remember the name of Ivan Khavruk.

Ivan was a 34-year-old fighter who died in November 2025 in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He was born in the city of Rivne, where he attended school and engaged in swimming from a young age. Later, he received higher education at Rivne State Humanities University and worked at local enterprises before he was drafted into service in January 2025.

Friends and family remember Ivan as kind and caring, a loving father. He praised the command and his comrades in the armed forces. Ivan was buried in the cemetery in Rivne, leaving behind a mother and a daughter in the closest circle.

'Glavkom' joined the moment of silence to honor the memory of all Ukrainian citizens who gave their lives in the struggle for the country's freedom and independence, remembering all who died because of Ukraine's enemies.
