According to glavcom.ua: Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today we remember soldier Anton Holovatyyk.

25-year-old Anton Holovatyyk died on November 29, 2024, during the performance of a combat mission in the Kharkiv direction as a result of enemy shelling. This was reported by the portal 'Glavkom' referring to the Rivne City Council. He was born on June 27, 1999, in Orzhev, studied at a local school and college.

Anton served in a military unit in Rivne region before moving to Rivne. He was known as a determined and willful person who always strived to achieve his goals. His wife, Angelina, recalls: 'Anton never gave up. He was decisive, always pursued his own. He was passionate about many things - everything he took on, he did with soul. But the most important thing was that he lived for the army, serving the country.'

Tragically, the soldier died in battle in the Kharkiv direction. His body was taken for farewell on July 3, and he was buried in his native village of Orzhev. Anton left his parents, brother, and wife in sorrow.

This story is just one of the thousands of lost lives in the war and reminds us of the sacrifice of Ukrainian servicemen in defending their country against the threat from Russia.
