Hryhoriy, whose call sign was Syoma, died on February 24, 2023, near the village of Velyka Novosilka in Donetsk region. He was 55 years old. He was born and lived in Kyiv, working as a driver and spending weekends fishing and enjoying nature with his loved ones.

During the war, Hryhoriy volunteered for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served in the 26th separate rifle battalion. He was a valuable worker and a good brother, father, and husband. On the front, he took care of his loved ones and went a year without leave.
