Battle for Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia direction. Let's remember Maksym Borshchuk

Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians remember all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we honor the memory of Maksym Borshchuk.

Maksym Borshchuk, a 40-year-old soldier, died in battle for Ukraine on June 23, 2025, in the Zaporizhzhia direction. This is reported by the magazine

Maksym was born on May 22, 1985, in Rivne, studied at school No. 22, and graduated from the Rivne Professional College of Automotive Technologies, where he became an electrician.

While working in security services, Maksym found time for sports - he played football since childhood and represented the Rivne region.

In May 2023, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

«When Maksym received a summons, he said: «I fear nothing, I am going». Even after being wounded and undergoing surgery on his eyes - he did not stop. He said: «I am a fighter, I have the status of a participant in hostilities, I have honor», remembers the hero's mother, Zoya Ivanovna.

Unfortunately, Maksym died in battle for Ukraine on June 23, 2025, in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

On June 28, a farewell for Maksym took place at Independence Square in Rivne, he was buried at the «Novoie» cemetery.

Only Maksym Borshchuk's mother survived.
